After two failed attempts Lisa Allen, Head of Corporate Partnerships, PR and Events at the Pink Ribbon Foundation finally managed to complete her charity skydive on the 28 April in aid of the Foundation. Having convinced a small team from corporate partner Valspar Paint UK, plus upcycler Lynne Lambourne and TV carpenter and presenter Wayne Perrey to join her (amazing powers of persuasion), the team bravely skydived 13,000ft to raise awareness and money for those affected by breast cancer. The team have between them raised over £6,000 for the charity, which makes all the nerves worth it. Our thanks go to all of the instructors at Hinton Sky Diving Centre who got everyone down safely and inspired such confidence and calm, making it a truly memorable experience for all the participants and to Kimberley at Skyline for all of the support and organising in the lead up to the day. Biggest thanks must go to the wonderful people who jumped in aid of the Pink Ribbon Foundation, to those who cheered and supported on the day and to everyone who has made a donation to one of the fundraising pages to support their FUNdraising efforts! You are all fabulous! If you want to enjoy the same exhilarating feeling of a skydive - flying through the clouds from over 10,000ft at up to 120 mph - then why not jump for our charity?! This incredible challenge will give you the biggest adrenaline rush you could ever imagine as you soar through the air knowing that you have helped raised invaluable funds for the Pink Ribbon Foundation. The tandem jump is the most popular of all skydives, it requires just 30 minutes training before you are strapped to your fully qualified BPA instructor who does all the hard work so you can enjoy the ride!
