Other Ways to Support Us

Earn a bit. Give a bit. Everyone benefits.

When you're selling, the real beauty of eBay for Charity is that there's something for everyone - yourself included. You decide exactly what percentage of your final selling price you'd like to give to charity (that's the Pink Ribbon Foundation sorted), and what percentage you'd like for yourself (that's you sorted).

eBay for Charity listings are the same as any other eBay listing, except for the blue and yellow eBay for Charity ribbon in search results and your chosen charity's mission statement and logo in your listing. This means your listing can be seen by everyone who searches through eBay.co.uk. It'll also get extra visibility through the eBay for Charity pages.

It's the perfect way to make a difference – while doing what you do every day on eBay, whether you're a fishing enthusiast selling angling gear or a big business trading electronics.

Every time you list an item for charity, you'll get a fee credit on your basic insertion and final value fees equal to the percentage you donate. So, if you donate 50% of your selling price to a charity, eBay will waive 50% of your fees.

Gift Aid is one of the easiest ways to make your donation tax effective. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, the charity will receive an extra 25p from the government.

Simply log into PayPal Gift Aid to make your declaration. When your charity item sells, provided you pay more in UK income or capital gains tax than you're asking charities to claim back in each tax year, the PayPal Giving Fund will collect the Gift Aid from the government and pass it on to your chosen charity.

So, what are you waiting for? Earn money – donate money – and declutter at the same time!

Gifting Prizes

We regularly run raffles, auctions and competitions – both online and at events – and are always grateful to receive prizes from brands who want to support our charity.

Whether it’s a coveted item, a bundle of goodies, or an incredible experience, premium prizes can significantly improve the fundraising potential of a competitive campaign.

We’re always very happy to express our gratitude to our competition partners by tagging them across all relevant social media posts, as well as in our online and print marketing material.

If you’d like to donate something towards a future campaign, we’d love to hear from you!

Leave a gift in your Will

Making your Will can seem like a daunting job – but it doesn’t have to be. The Pink Ribbon Foundation has partnered with FreeWills.co.uk to provide all our supporters with the opportunity to make their own fully comprehensive Will for free. You can make your personalised Will online in three simple steps, from the comfort of your own home and with live support from their Will specialists.

You can also leave a legacy in your Will to the Pink Ribbon Foundation, which is one of the best ways of ensuring that we can continue our valuable work. As a grant making Trust, the Pink Ribbon Foundation has very little infrastructure and relies wholly on donations from companies and individuals in order to support those affected by breast cancer. A gift in your will, however small or large, can help ensure we can always be here to support those charities on the front line, offering vital services to those impacted by breast cancer and their families.

By making a Will you can ensure that your wishes, and the people and causes you care about, are provided for. After providing for your family and friends, remembering us in your will means that we will be able to carry on our work and ensure that we are always there for those that need us. Every single gift is vital to the Pink Ribbon Foundation and we appreciate any gift you may choose to leave us. Whatever the value of your gift, it will go a long way to help someone who needs us – it truly is a gift of a lifetime.

It will not cost you a penny during your lifetime. It is simple to do and is free from inheritance tax.

We thank you in advance for making a generous, thoughtful contribution.

Payroll Giving

The Pink Ribbon Foundation is registered as a CAF ‘Give As You Earn’ charity. With payroll giving (also known as workplace giving) you’ll be providing the Pink Ribbon Foundation with a vital funding lifeline which allows us to continue to support those affected by breast cancer.

Payroll giving is an easy, tax-effective way to give to charity – so it costs employees less to give more. The system is easy to opt in and out of, giving donors full control over their giving and regular donations. Research also shows that working for a philanthropically-minded organisation aids staff retention and happiness.

To support us, your HR team can sign up with ‘Give As You Earn’ and encourage employees to take part.

Pink Ribbons

Our pink ribbons are the perfect way to collect donations on behalf of the Pink Ribbon Foundation. They make an ideal addition to fundraisers at work, school, sporting events and gala’s as well as helping individuals to meet their fundraising target. Ribbons are available in bags of 100, but we are happy to send any amount. We can also provide a cardboard collection pot or for large scale events, pink buckets which are sent directly from our supplier with labels and security seals.

Skydive for the Pink Ribbon Foundation

A Tandem skydive is the easiest and most popular of all skydives. It requires only 30 minutes of training before you then jump strapped to your instructor! The BPA (British Parachute Association) qualified tandem instructor does all of the hard work for you, allowing you to enjoy the exhilarating feeling of flying through the clouds from over 10,000 feet at up to 120 mph! It is a truly unforgettable experience.

To jump for FREE all you need to do is raise a minimum of £395 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation. It really is that simple! You can reserve your place initially with a £70 deposit and spend the rest of your time fundraising in the lead up to your jump. As long as you reach this target all costs are covered including your sponsorship, allowing you to take part in your very own skydiving adventure - whilst at the same time raising vital funds to support those affected by breast cancer!

How to get started skydiving for FREE -

1. BOOK NOW: click here and enter the Pink Ribbon Foundation as your chosen charity, along with your details. Here you'll need to select your airfield and a couple of dates that you can do. If you aren't sure of your closest airfield just take a look at the airfield map.

2. There's a £70 deposit required to book in, but don't worry this is part of the £395 that we ask you to raise so you're welcome to reimburse yourself the cost with any cash sponsors you collect once you've hit your target!

3. Start fundraising! Once your jump has been confirmed you're all set; you can raise money either online with a fundraising page or offline with cash sponsors. Click here to set up a fundraising page with the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

Don’t forget to share your photos with us and tag the Pink Ribbon Foundation in social media.

Good luck!
