The importance of fibre intake on gut microbiome during and after cancer
The August topic for the monthly Survivorship Support group sessions is:
The importance of fibre intake on gut microbiome during and after cancer
The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) is hosting a live support group for anyone affected by cancer focussing on the importance of fibre intake on gut microbiome during and after cancer. This interactive session is led by an oncology specialist dietitian and will go through the affect fibre intake has on the gut in relation to cancer and associated side effects. This is an opportunity to ask questions based around cancer and food and receive tailored clinical advice. These sessions are open to anyone affected by cancer including carers and loved ones, and provide an opportunity for anyone living with cancer to discuss many different areas around cancer survivorship and life during and after cancer.
