On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of attending the launch of 'A Thorn in the Rose' by my friend Samantha Lee Howe at the beautiful Firepit Art Gallery & Cultural Hub.
As a long-time fan of her work - from 'The Stranger In Our Bed' to the gripping 'House of Killers' trilogy - I already know we were in for something special. Sam has this incredible way of pulling you in from the very first page and not letting go ..… and I honestly can’t wait to dive into 'A Thorn in the Rose'.
There’s something so powerful about watching someone you admire step fully into their moment - seeing the words they’ve poured their heart into finally out in the world. The room was buzzing with pride, excitement and that unmistakable creative energy that only a book launch can bring.
