River Aesthetics will paint the roads pink on a 19-mile sponsored walk between their Bournemouth and Lymington clinics on Sunday 3rd October in aid of the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

Due to the pandemic, River Aesthetics have been unable to organise their usual fundraising events for the Foundation, so Dr Charlotte Woodward and Dr Victoria Manning, medical directors of River Aesthetics, decided to embark on this challenging clinic-to-clinic walk. As an all-women team, and both doctors having both sadly lost loved ones to breast cancer, the Pink Ribbon Foundation is close to the hearts of the seven-female strong River Aesthetics team.

The Foundation funds projects and provides financial support to UK charities that relieve the needs of people suffering from, or who have been affected by breast cancer or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer, its early detection and treatment. Every year the Pink Ribbon Foundation invites charities in the UK to apply for a grant to help them continue their vital work or fund one off projects. “We thank the team at River Aesthetics for their ongoing support at this crucial time. Working together over the years has been very well received by both their staff and customers and together we have raised awareness of this terrible disease and vital funds to fight breast cancer.  We very much look forward to nurturing our partnership and growing it, so that together we may help more women (and a smaller percentage of men) living with a breast cancer diagnosis.”

Dr Victoria Manning, founder of River Aesthetics, said: “After being active supporters of the Pink Ribbon Foundation for the past few years, we are always so impressed by their work assisting UK breast cancer charities. We absolutely had to continue to support them any way we could, especially during these unprecedented times.”

River Aesthetics aims to raise over £5,000 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation from their clinic-to-clinic walk.
