New Paxman cooling machine for Hope for Tomorrow
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is delighted to have awarded a grant to Hope for Tomorrow so that they could purchase a Paxman cooling machine for one of their mobile units, so that users can benefit from a reduction in hair loss.
Chemotherapy-induced hair loss is widely recognised as one of the most traumatic side effects associated with cancer treatment, and yet it is still one of the least explored.
Paxman has been pioneering scalp cooling technology for over a quarter of a century. Their clinically proven cold cap system has helped over 100,000 cancer patients in more than 50 countries worldwide to retain their hair during chemotherapy.
