Challenge The Wild are hosting an Adventure Festival in the Lake District supported by our Ambassador Julia Bradbury and friends at The Outdoor Guide, to offer those who have recovered from cancer, are living with cancer, or want to support someone who has experienced this illness, the opportunity to take part in an organised adventure-based event; guided by professional instructors.

This Adventure event is an exhilarating and uplifting outdoor adventure. Under the watchful eye of highly-trained instructors, participants will be encouraged and empowered as they take on a series of challenges, specially designed to help build team spirit and self-confidence. Before you know it, you’ll be facing fears and achieving more than you ever believed you could. You don’t have to be fighting fit or as strong as an ox to take part; a positive attitude and a good sense of humour are far more important.

Challengers will be able to experience activities such as waterfall jumping, canyoning, rock scrambling, abseiling, hiking and canoe rafts. And as it’s an overnight event; there will be the chance to sleep under the stars, enjoy locally produced food and make the most of the onsite bar.  Use the experience to get together with work colleagues, friends or family and set up a fundraising page to raise awareness and money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
